A message from our Treasurer, Cllr Paul Dawson

Dear friends, supporters and members,

It has been a great year for the Green Party with the Green Wave sweeping right across the nation!

Most recently, the marvellous results from the European election with over 2 million Green votes, sending 7 MEPs to the European Parliament. This was a 12% share of the vote, pushing the Conservatives into fifth place.

This followed hot on the heels of the local elections where the Green Party gained an additional 194 Councillors (up to 372)!

Across Three Rivers we pushed our vote share up. We strengthened our second-place position in Rickmansworth Town ward at the District Council elections and I am now one of three new Parish Councillors serving Batchworth Community Council. A massive 'thank you' to everyone you voted for me in Rickmansworth Town. I am delighted to announce that I was also elected as Vice-Chair to the Community Council.

The hard work of the team, knocking on doors, addressing envelopes, and delivering leaflets certainly paid off. We hope to build on this success, but to do this we need volunteers and the funds to pay for the campaigning material.

Can you help?

We need volunteers to help us with surveying residents, designing leaflets, maintaining the website, delivering literature. Drop us a line today on and tell us what skills and interests you have.

Or perhaps you could set up a small regular contribution to our local party funds? If you could give £5, 10, or £15 a month that would be enormously helpful for budgeting our campaign in the year ahead.

Our account details are:

Bank: Lloyds Bank

Sort Code: 30-91-91

Account Number: 40496068

Please use your name as the Reference.

Thank you for your support so far. Together we can do better in the year ahead.

Councillor Paul Dawson
