Hustings for Parliamentary candidate

Information of combined selection meeting for Hemel Hempstead, Watford and South West Hertfordshire Parliamentary Constituency at 19.30 on Friday 26th of April 2019 at Kings Langley Community Centre, The Nap, Kings Langley, WD4 8ET.

(Sorry, we are not holding hustings for Hertsmere Constituency)

We’re in the midst of the possible collapse of the current government and a possible 3rd general election since 2015. Local parties, Dacorum and Three Rivers, are seeking to stand candidates for both Hemel Hempstead, Watford and South West Hertfordshire in order to support the national campaign and ensure our green values and climate change are at the forefront of the debate. Nominations are now closed for prospective candidates for all three constituencies.

This meeting will include a Q&A session for the nominee and a ballot held.

A selection meeting for all constituencies will take place at 19.30 on the 26th April 2019 at Kings Langley Community Centre, The Nap, Kings Langley, WD4 8ET. There has been a change of procedure from the last meeting in 2017. Only members from the constituency they reside in can vote for the candidate for that constituency. If members are unable to attend the meeting and require an absentee ballot, they are required to request one from their ERO prior to the selection meeting.

If any members believe they may have difficulty travelling to the meeting, please contact Mark Rutherford or Roberta who will attempt to organise car sharing with other members, likewise if you are able to give a lift to other members from your area please let Roberta or Mark know.
